Itinerary

Arrival at the airport or bus station and transfer to the office. for the final talk about our tour before leaving on our adventure. In case you have a lot of luggage, we suggest you repack to save the items you don't need and bring enough for the trip. Land transfer (4X4) in a truck with wheels to our destination for about 2 hours to reach the banks of the Tambopata River, if it is by river it will take more than 6 hours (information only). In this place we will take a boat to the lodge "Monte Amazonico - Tambopata". Welcome and Breakfast or lunch depending on the time of arrival. In the afternoon we will take an introductory walk to the tropical jungle where we will have the opportunity to see animals in their natural habitat such as amphibians, mammals, reptiles and wonderful insects, among others.

We get up very early, at 4:30 am, to embark on an incredible boat trip to the largest macaw clay lick in the world "EL CHUNCHO", a trip of approximately 1:30 hours by boat, on the way we will have the opportunity from seeing some species such as capybaras, which is the largest rodent in the world, tapirs, and you can even see the most beautiful South American feline, the jaguar, many of our clients are witnesses with photographic evidence of encounters with these beautiful mammals. After arrival at the macaw clay licks, you will see hundreds of parrots of different species (11) come to eat clay adjacent to the river on the wall. We will settle in our chairs to wait for one of the most beautiful natural bird shows to begin. in the world. Parrots are followed by 3 species of the most colorful macaws in America, red and green, blue and yellow come together to eat the clay necessary in their daily diet and eliminate toxins. On a good day of activity you will see hundreds of these wonderful animals flying above you. An experience for a lifetime Return to our hostel, breakfast and rest time. -Then we will walk through the botanical garden where you can observe some fruit, timber and medicinal species of our area, in the company of our guide. Lunch Our boat will take us to our transport back to Puerto Maldonado, the same return route, we will return to the city. Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the airport.
