Throughout our trip we will pass through picturesque hills and snow-capped peaks of the Vilcanota Mountain Range. We will also have the opportunity to take some photos along the way, pedaling from the Abra de Málaga (4,350), makes the difference. The 3-4 hour downhill ride is exciting and relaxing at the same time and won't soon be forgotten. Day 2

Day 02: SANTA MARÍA - SANTA TERESA: WALK 17 KM

We will begin the day's trekking after having a breakfast full of energy. Now we will be entering the outer jungle, easily recognizable by the flora and fauna that we will see. Walking through the tropical forest, the beautiful surroundings will provide us with many photo opportunities. We will even have the opportunity to visit a local coca plantation along the way. At the highest point of the path, we will come across an ancient Inka Trail, which has been out of use for a long time. Finally, when we arrive in Santa Teresa, we will have the opportunity to soak in the naturally heated thermal waters of the mineral-enriched thermal baths found there. Baths are relaxing and detoxifying for the mind, body and spirit. We can relax there until it's time to go to dinner. Later, we will enjoy a very welcome sleep.

    Day 3

Day 03: SANTA TERESA - AGUAS CALIENTES: TREKKING 16KM - CANOPY

We will start at 6:30 am with an energetic breakfast. (Zip Line Bonus Tour) Today there will be even more tropical weather as we approach the ancient city. We will walk approximately 5 to 6 hours along the road to a Hydroelectric Power Plant, where a sacred ceremonial site awaits us, IntiHuatana. From here we will reach Aguas Calientes walking along the railway. Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes, we will immediately transfer to our lodges to spend the night. Tonight we will share dinner with our guide while he informs us of the plans for the next day before going to sleep.

    Day 4

Day 04: MACHU PICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO

We will wake up very early, at 4:30 a.m., to begin hiking up the mountain to Machu Pichu in time to see the sunrise at the top. It will take approximately one hour and 45 minutes to reach the top. When we first arrive, our guide will take us on a 2-hour tour of the ruins, enlightening us about the ancient city. that was once alive, and enriching us with the history of the Inka. There is a lot of information that our guide can teach us, especially everything we know about the site so far. After the guided portion of the tour, you'll have some free time to explore the ruins on your own. If you want to climb Huayna Pichu, it is recommended to book in advance, preferably three months in advance, for an additional cost of $25. There is a limited capacity of 400 people per day to climb Huayna Picchu, so book in advance so you don't miss out. . The round trip walking to Huaynapicchu peak is approximately one and a half hours. Definitely worth it for the incredible views from the top. It should be noted that the upper part with the stairs (the "stairs part", as it is affectionately known) is moderately dangerous, especially if the weather has been wet. You will need to return to Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo.
