Best Time to Visit Manu National Park
Understand Manu's seasons, wildlife rhythms and what each part of the year offers.
Manu travel guide
SERNANP identifies April through November as the recommended visiting season for Manu National Park, while December through March is the rainier period. Conditions vary considerably because a journey crosses high Andean, cloud-forest and Amazon environments, with official temperatures ranging approximately from 5°C to 30°C.
A drier month can make road and river logistics more predictable, but Manu remains a humid tropical environment and rain is possible throughout the year. Wildlife sightings are always natural and cannot be guaranteed. The right date therefore depends on route availability, trip duration and the kind of experience you prefer.
Before confirming a departure, ask the Vertigo Travel Peru team to verify current access, river and road conditions, park rules and the exact equipment required for your itinerary.
