Day 1
Day 01: CUSCO – CUSIPATA – PITUMARCA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – CUSCO
We will start the tour at 4:00 am, with our tourist transport picking you up from your hotel. We will head south of the city of Cusco for approximately 2 hours until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will have breakfast. After breakfast, we will continue for another 2 hours until we arrive at the parking area where the ATVs are located. At this point, our staff will provide instructions on how to use the ATVs so you can begin the ride on a specially designed trail that offers beautiful views of the mountains, snow-capped peaks, and high-Andean wildlife. After a 30-minute ride, we will reach the starting point of a 10-minute hike to the Rainbow Mountain. Upon reaching the summit, you will have ample time to take photos and learn more about Vinicunca Mountain and its surroundings. We will then return the same way we came. In the afternoon, we will have lunch in Cusipata before heading back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm.
