    Day 1

    Day 01: CUSCO - MOLLEPATA - HUMANTAY LAKE - SORAYPAMPA

    We will leave Cusco at approximately 5:00 am, a bus will take us to the town of Mollepata (2900 meters above sea level) where we will arrive at approximately 7:30 in the morning, we will make a stop for last minute supplies, stretching our legs. or use the bathrooms at a local restaurant. . We will continue our trip to Sayapata, our starting point of the hike. We will meet our support staff, who will load the equipment onto horses and mules. Around 9:00 am, we will begin our walk towards Soraypampa (3850 meters above sea level). During the walk we will have panoramic views of the majestic Salkantay, other snow-capped mountains and the valley of the Apurímac River. Around 1:00 p.m. m. We will have a Peruvian lunch. After lunch, we will visit Humantay Lake, a wonderful lake in the mountains (3 hours of hiking) and return to our camp where the tents will be ready for you and your dinner.

    Day 2

    Day 02: SORAYPAMPA - CHAULLAY

    Today, nature will change drastically from dry landscapes to snowy peaks and tropical areas. After a nutritious breakfast, we will begin the most difficult part of the hike. We will begin the walk around 7:00 in the morning. We will walk to a place called Pampa Salkantay, then we will head towards the left side of the Umantay snow-capped mountains located next to the Apu Salkantay. At noon we will be at the highest point (4600 meters above sea level). Salkantay route tour to Machu Picchu We will appreciate spectacular views of the mountains and the imposing snow-capped peaks of Salkantay (6264 meters above sea level), which is known as the second highest point in the Cusco region. Around 1:00 p.m. m. We will have our lunch in the area called Huayracmachay. After a walk of approximately 3 hours, we will arrive at our camp in Challway (2920 meters above sea level). Around 7:00 p.m. m. m., we will recover from the walk and have dinner.

    Day 3

    Day 03: CHAULLAY - SAHUAYACO BEACH - SANTA TERESA HOT SPRINGS

    Around 7:00 am, we will start our hike. We will walk for about 6 hours towards Playa Sahuayaco and during this period; We will observe a town called Collpabamba, also called the "Cloudy Eyebrow Forest" where you can see waterfalls, fruit trees, varied flora and birds. If we are lucky, we will be able to observe the famous bird called “Gallito de las Rocas”. Here we will have lunch. At 14:00 a local bus will take us to Termas de Santa Teresa, where you can enjoy and relax in the thermal pools. You will have dinner and camp there.

    Day 4

    Day 04: SAHUAYACO BEACH - HYDROELECTRIC - AGUAS CALIENTES

    Today is the final stretch of the hike before reaching Aguas Calientes at the base of Machu Picchu. After breakfast, we will begin to walk for approximately 3 hours along the river, surrounded by vegetation and impressive mountains towards the place called Hidroeléctrica. Here we will have lunch and after a break we will continue walking for the next approximately 3 hours to the town of Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, you will be accommodated at the hostel. You will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant around 7:00 p.m.

    Day 5

    Day 05: MACHU PICCHU - OLLANTAYTAMBO - CUSCO

    Today, it will start early around 4:30 am. And hike to Machu Picchu. At Machu Picchu, you will have a guided tour of approximately two hours and then you will be free to explore the Citadel and take photographs, if you wish, walk to the Puerta del Sol or ascend towards the Huaynapicchu mountain. At 18:45 (depending on availability), you will take a train to Ollantaytambo and from there; a bus will take you to Cusco.
