Day 1
VISIT 1: PACHACUTEC HUMMINGBIRD SANCTUARY ANDEAN FOREST
In the morning, our specialized birding guide will pick you up from your hotel between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. in a private minivan, where we will immerse ourselves in the magic of the Peruvian bird life. Visiting two hummingbird sanctuaries in one day offers a complete immersion experience in the ecosystem. We will depart from the city of Cusco for a 30-minute minivan tour. Our first visit will be to the Pachacutec Hummingbird Sanctuary, where more than 40 species of birds have been recorded, as well as a botanical garden that houses more than 7,000 nectar plants of 47 different species. Our activity will last approximately 2 hours.
